Andrea NaTay, owner of Forever Fitness Chicago, LLC has served 7 years in the United States Navy where she learned and valued the importance of exercise and nutrition. After being honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 2007, and moving back to her hometown of Chicago, IL, she packed on 30lbs due to poor food choices and lack of exercise. Andrea was determined to overcome obesity and take back control of her health. She remembered what she was taught in the United States Navy and performed many of the same exercises. Additionally, she started making healthier food choices, ate every three hours, monitored her food portions, and increased her water intake. She never went on a restrictive diet or spent an entire day in the gym, she gradually made a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. After dropping those unwanted 30lbs over a 4 month span, Andrea found her passion in fitness and began sharing the wealth with others. She pursued her passion by enrolling and graduating from National Personal Training Institute, located downtown Chicago, IL. She went on to earn an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Primary Group Exercise Certification. Realizing early on in her health wellness career the importance of nutrition, she earned a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification.
Andrea NaTay currently travels to personal training clients and conducts small/group sessions where needed. In addition, she provides nutritional guidance individually or in a workshop.
Most recent, Andrea NaTay was the Race Director for the first ever organized race in the Greater Englewood, Chicago community. On November 2, 2014, “Ditch the Weight & Guns” Englewood 5K Walk & Run gathered nearly 1,000 participants to walk/run the streets of Greater Englewood, Chicago to promote prevent and fight crime and obesity simultaneously. As per Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who also ran the race, the race is now an annual event.
